PRINCESS CHARLOTTE PITCHES IN: Princess Charlotte turned five on Saturday and to mark the milestone, Kensington Palace has released a series of photos that show the little royal helping the needy during lockdown.
The pictures, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in April, were shot on Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where members of the royal family helped to pack up and deliver food to isolated elderly people in the local area.
 

 
The Cambridges have been staying at their home, Anmer Hall, on the estate during the lockdown. Charlotte and her elder brother Prince George are still being schooled at home — just like most British children right now — and have also been showing their support for National Health Service during lockdown. They’ve been pictured clapping for NHS workers on Thursday evening.
Last month, their little brother Prince Louis was photographed making rainbows with finger paints to help spread some cheer in these dark days. The Duchess of Cambridge took those photos, too, to mark Louis’ second birthday.

As the coronavirus pandemic has had much of the country on stay-at-home orders for nearly two months, the question remains when normal life will resume with businesses, restaurants and stores opening up.
Several major retailers, including J.C. Penney Co. Inc., Neiman Marcus Group, Macy’s Inc. and Nordstrom Inc., have already begun devising reopening plans as a few states have started permitting nonessential businesses, such as gyms or hair salons, to resume operations. However, each state is operating on its own reopening schedule, with the focus being on minimizing the spread of the virus.
Here, WWD breaks down when and how each state is reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alabama
Alabama was on a stay-at-home order until April 30. Gov. Kay Ivey has now issued a “safer-at-home” order that went into effect on April 30 and lasts until May 15.
Under the order, retail stores and beaches are permitted to reopen as long as they follow sanitation and social distancing guidelines. Retail stores are restricted to 50 percent occupancy and restaurants are restricted to take-out, pickup or delivery options.
Alaska
Alaska’s stay-at-home order went into effect on March 28. The state began reopening as

In about two weeks, patients of Dr. Harold Lancer will again be able to get their various skin-care fixes, but the Beverly Hills office is taking a strict approach to reopening.
“Some of my staff have been with me over 30 years and it runs like a well-oiled machine, even with a pandemic,” Lancer said. “So I’ve had the ability to fine-tune, without having to make wild claims of putting in UV lights or anything like that.”
But gone are the days of being able to simply walk into a waiting room full of Los Angeles elites in the dermatologist’s Beverly Hills office — where Lancer treats patients like Ellen Degeneres, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian, along with models, politicians and heads of industry looking for new skin treatments or a tune up of filler or Botox. Not only will there be no more walk-ins allowed in the office at all, but the number of patients seen in a day is being drastically reduced — only three people will be allowed in the waiting room at a given time, and all will be required when scheduling an appointment to disclose any signs of or exposure to the coronavirus. THE BOUT CONTINUES: One day after a Manitoba court judge approved the liquidation of Nygård’s retail properties, lawyers for Peter Nygård filed a motion to amend his racketeering complaint against Louis Bacon.
Nygård and Bacon own neighboring properties in Lyford Cay, an affluent enclave in the Bahamas. The titans initially crossed swords over a property dispute and have battled for decades in and out of court. Nygård’s legal problems include a complaint filed by 46 unidentified women alleging rape and sex trafficking.
In March, a group of companies owned by Nygård went into receivership and are under the control of the Richter Advisory Group. On Wednesday, Manitoba’s Court of Queen’s Bench approved the liquidation sale of assets and inventory belonging to Nygard at a date to be determined. The Nygård chain had 169 retail outposts and 1,450 employees at one time.
The company’s business has dwindled over time, due partially to the allegations against its namesake. After the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies raided Nygård’s Times Square offices in Manhattan and his California home as part of the sexual assault investigation in February, Dillard’s announced it would no longer carry the moderate sportswear label.
