The Standout Fashion Moments From the 2021 NBA Draft

If there was ever a moment to make your fashion debut in the NBA, it would be draft day.
On Thursday, big names like Cade Cunningham, Jalen Suggs and Jonathan Kuminga dressed to the nines as they walked into Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The first-round draft pick was Cunningham, a freshman point guard from Oklahoma State, who will go to the Detroit Pistons. Cunningham partnered with Neiman Marcus in picking out his ensemble. He wore a two-piece tuxedo suit from Isaia and black Christian Louboutin spiked low-top sneakers.
Davion Mitchell, the point guard from Baylor who will be heading to Sacramento to play for the Kings, also partnered with Neiman Marcus for the draft. Mitchell wore a jacket from Amiri, black button-down from Brioni, pants from YSL and black spiked Christian Louboutin loafers.

Everything to Know About Gymnastics All-around Gold Medalist Sunisa Lee

The U.S.’ Sunisa Lee is an Olympic gold medal winner.
On Thursday, Lee finished with a total score of 57.433 in the individual all-around, placing her above her opponents to earn the gold. Following behind her was Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade and Russian Olympic Committee’s Angelina Melnikova, who earned the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
The 18-year-old is the fifth consecutive American to win the all-around title, following Carly Patterson in 2004, Nastia Liukin in 2008, Gabby Douglas in 2012 and Simone Biles in 2016. Though Biles returned for her second Olympics this year to defend her titles from Rio 2016, she cheered her teammate on from the stands this time around after withdrawing from both the team and individual all-around events due to mental health.
Andrade took part in the event as an individual competitor, since her team failed to qualify after four consecutive Olympic appearances. She made history on Thursday as her silver medal is the first Olympic medal won by a female Brazilian artistic gymnast.
Lee, who goes by the nickname Suni, is also the first Hmong American to compete in the Olympics as a gymnast, and the first to win a gold medal in the Olympics.

Ariana Grande Launches Vegan, Cruelty-free Scent Called ‘God Is a Woman’

Ariana Grande is launching her first clean fragrance.
The perfume will be naturally derived and cruelty-free, and called God Is a Woman, after Grande’s hit song from her fourth studio album, “Sweetener.” The fragrance will feature notes of ambrette, juicy pear, orris, Turkish rose petals, creamy cedarwood and Madagascar vanilla.
The God Is a Woman scent, which is available exclusively on Ulta.com, is 100 percent vegan, naturally derived and made with clean ingredients. During the first two weeks on the market, a contribution from each purchase will be donated to ocean clean-up initiatives globally.
Grande has experienced immense success since her first foray into the beauty world. In 2015, she launched her first fragrance, called Ari, then created others such as Sweet Like Candy and Moonlight, all of which were sold at Ulta. In 2018, Lush launched a bath bomb inspired by the iridescent purple and pink hues seen in Grande’s music video for “God Is a Woman,” and in 2019, Grande released a fragrance called “Thank U, Next,” named after her hit song and album of the same name. That fragrance is also available at Ulta.
The God Is a Woman fragrance from Ariana Grande will be available exclusively on Ulta.com on July

Theophilio Debuts Swim Collection

Edvin Thompson, Theophilio designer and CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund recipient, debuted his new swim collection during Miami Swim Week.
The swim collection is inspired by his homeland Jamaica and its sunrises and sunsets. “The colors used in this collection reminded me of the many moments while living in the hills of Jamaica. The countryside was my world, it was all I knew growing up in Jamaica. The vibrant colors constantly reminded me of how alive I was. The rivers and oceans aided many juvenile activities. I want to hold on to that image with this swim collection,” he said.
Swim sets are $135, headpieces are $90 and minidresses are $225, all which will be available mid-August.
