A Closer Look at Jared Leto’s Outfit at the ‘House of Gucci’ NYC Premiere

Make way for Jared Leto.
The award-winning actor arrived on the red carpet of the “House of Gucci” premiere in New York City on Tuesday, wowing crowds in a look by none other than Gucci itself. Leto wore a mustard, velour suit and a sequin-embellished draped turtleneck top from the Italian label’s fall 2021 ready-to-wear collection. He topped off the look by wearing gold platform boots and a white fur coat.
Leto’s costars Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons, among others, all joined him on the red carpet for the premiere.
The outfit marks one of many Gucci ensembles Leto has worn in the last few weeks.

For the film’s premiere in London, he wore a blue velvet shawl lapel jacket with tonal satin trim and matching trousers over a light cream sheer wraparound shirt by Gucci. He paired the outfit with gray leather boots and carried a silver allover crystal embellished heart-shaped clutch. Leto also wore jewelry by Gucci.
During the 2021 LACMA Art + Film Gala earlier this month, Leto wore a white suit with pink ostrich feather cuffs over a see-through beige top with a plunging neckline.

Nike Postpones Travis Scott Air Max Launch, Parsons Cuts Ties

Following the deaths of 10 people at the Astroworld Festival, Travis Scott’s ties to sponsors and partners appear to be tenuous.
It was revealed this week that nine-year-old Ezra Blount, who was trampled at the Nov. 5 event in Houston, is the latest death from the festival. Hundreds were injured during Scott’s performance before an audience of 50,000 people, due to a crowd surge. During a press briefing last week, Houston Police chief Troy Finner noted that merchandise tents were “a big challenge. Very sought-after” merchandise sent some of the “kids rushing toward that, breaking down barriers.”
While the Houston Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation and dozens of lawsuits have been filed against Scott, Nike Inc. announced Tuesday that it has postponed the release of its latest sneaker collaboration with Scott.
A spokesperson for Scott and his Cactus Jack Foundation declined comment Tuesday afternoon.
Nike declined further comment Tuesday beyond the statement on its Snkrs app, which read: “Out of respect for everyone impacted by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack.” Nike has had no further comment.
The sportswear giant and the “Astroworld” rapper are frequent collaborators and have

The award-winning singer attended the film’s London premiere in a dramatic look from Gucci’s spring 2022 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted in its Love Parade on Hollywood Boulevard earlier this month. The collection itself, with its lavish gowns and suits, was inspired by Hollywood and costume design.

Who Had the Biggest Influence in Fashion in 2021?

LONDON — It’s certainly been a strange year that started with strict global lockdowns and major vaccination campaigns happening all around the world. But it’s ending with the reopening of the world and the return of travel, group celebrations — and extravagant fashion.
Along the way, fashion industry dynamics have been shifting and it looks like smaller players are starting to become a more prominent part of the conversation. They’re becoming capable of moving the cultural needle — or simply going viral — without the same big budgets and advertising capabilities as the mega brands.
According to fashion shopping platform Lyst, which monitors online customer searches to identify trends, throughout 2021 customers were searching and shopping for up-and-coming brands, as much as they did for some of their more established peers.

“The pandemic had accelerated some changes in the brands ecosystem. The new trends cycle has created opportunities for smaller, independent brands, as new social media platforms favor authenticity and entertainment rather than polish and big budgets,” said Brenda Otero, the company’s cultural insights manager.
According to Lyst’s end-of-year report, there was an array of young names that have been garnering attention online throughout the year, with LVMH Prize winner Nensi Dojaka leading the way.
