At this year’s awards ceremony, celebrities such as Olivia Rodrigo, Kali Uchis and Chloe and Halle Bailey stepped onto the red carpet in some of the most fashion-forward outfits yet. Cardi B continued to wow the crowd with her custom, over-the-top Schiaparelli look (she would go on to do seven more outfit changes throughout the night) and Billy Porter, in iconic Billy Porter fashion, arrived in an elaborate ensemble by Botter, complete with an umbrella as a hat.
Rodrigo, who was nominated for seven categories and won the New Artist of the Year award, wore a blue sequined halter dress by David Koma that featured a semi-sheer skirt finished with blue ostrich feathers. Members of popular Korean boy band BTS, which consists of Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jungkook and V, all wore suits by Louis Vuitton, for which they are global ambassadors.
Jojo Siwa traded in her signature ponytail and usual colorful garb for a black off-the-shoulder dress with a tiered ruffle skirt and high heels. Madelyn Cline of Netflix’s “Outer Banks” bared it all in a black, cutout halter dress by Mônot.

“Dancing With the Stars” is one of the longest-running celebrity reality TV competitions, with 30 seasons under its belt.
While the ABC show is known for its elaborate dance routines and for casting a wide range of celebrities across film, TV, music and sports, this recent season — with its many themed weeks — has especially resonated with viewers for its memorable costumes.
“We’re definitely taking it a little bit out of the ballroom world and into certain music genres depending on the theme,” said Daniela Gschwendtner, who designs the contestants’ costumes alongside Steven Lee. “We definitely have a different vibe now in the show with the costumes by having these themes, so it’s a bit different than what we used to do in the past with more traditional ballroom looks.”
This season, which is hosted by Tyra Banks, has incorporated a range of themes, including Disney, Britney Spears, “Grease,” Queen, horror night and Janet Jackson, among others, and has cast stars such as YouTube star JoJo Siwa, Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, former NBA player Iman Shumpert, “Spice Girls” member Melanie C, TV host Amanda Kloots, influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli, Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby and others.

It was a long time coming.
This year, finally, the all-female punk band The Go-Go’s was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The ceremony and concert was in Cleveland at the end of October, with fellow inductees Tina Turner, Foo Fighters and L.L. Cool J present, among others, but it’s just now airing Nov. 20 on HBO Max.
Drew Barrymore introduces The Go-Go’s onstage, calling them “the first band I ever loved,” and donning a towel and face cream as a nod to the 1981 album cover “Beauty and the Beat” to prove it.
Carlisle, known in the early 1980s for her DIY style, wearing impossibly chic garbage bag dresses on stage, for example, turned to her longtime friend, designer Jeannine Braden to dress her.
Braden’s brand Le Superbe struck the perfect balance between punk and polish, with Carlisle wearing several items from the holiday collection, including a jeweled sweater, cosmic-patterned pleated skirt, tulle-and-denim pencil skirt and gold sequin dusted smoking jacket.

Scarlett Johansson has made a glamorous return to the red carpet on Thursday.
The actress attended the 2021 American Cinematheque Gala in a look by Versace. She wore a white form-fitted suit, that featured a backless design, over a crystal-embellished corset and styled her hair in an updo. She wore jewelry by Anita Ko and pumps by Gianvito Rossi.
She was styled by Molly Dickson, who has also worked with the likes of Camila Mendes of “Riverdale,” Sydney Sweeney of “Euphoria,” and Sadie Sink of “Stranger Things.”
Johansson attended the event, held at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton, with her husband “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost. This year, the actress was the recipient of the 35th American Cinematheque Award.

Each year, the award is given to an artist who made significant contributions to the art of the moving picture.
The appearance marked the couple’s first red carpet outing in almost two years, with their last one being during the Oscars in February 2020.
It was also the couple’s first red carpet appearance since the actress gave birth to their first child together. In August, they welcomed a son named Cosmo. Jost revealed the news with a simple statement on Instagram. “Ok ok we had a

Lady Gaga and Jared Leto led the way on the red carpet of the film’s premiere Thursday evening, as they both stunned in creations by Italian fashion houses.
The singer-actress wore a sequin-embellished, strapless gold gown from Valentino’s summer 2021 collection. She traded in her long hair and opted for a pixie cut and bold eye makeup look topped with a red lip. Her jewelry was by Messika and she was styled by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout.
Leto continued his hot streak of wearing Gucci creations. The Oscar award-winning actor wore a pink satin tuxedo from the label’s spring 2022 collection that debuted during its Love Parade on Hollywood Boulevard earlier this month with white booties and black lace and jewel-embellished gloves.
Their costars Adam Driver, Al Pacino and Mădălina Ghenea and the movie’s director Ridley Scott and his wife Giannina Facio also attended the premiere.
Driver wore a simple black suit while Pacino donned a more casual all-black red carpet ensemble. Ghenea wore a black one-shouldered draped gown that featured a thigh-high slit.
