Brigitte King has resigned as chief customer officer of Calvin Klein, Inc., and executive vice president, North American digital strategy and operations at PVH Corp.
She plans to join Colgate-Palmolive as chief digital officer.
A Calvin Klein spokeswoman confirmed Klein’s departure but could not comment on her successor at this time.
Prior to joining Calvin Klein in April 2019, King had been at L’Oréal in various capacities, rising to chief consumer officer, America’s Zone, prior to which she was chief consumer officer, USA. Her roles at L’Oréal included deputy general manager of Kiehl’s Since 1851.
King was hired at CKI by Marie Gulin-Merle, the company’s former chief marketing officer and chief digital officer of PVH, who resigned last October to join Google as vice president of global ads marketing. Gulin-Merle was previously chief marketing officer at L’Oréal USA.
Earlier in King’s career, she had been with Colgate-Palmolive as an associate product manager.

While virtually all school graduations are canceled because of the coronavirus pandemic, YouTube is offering students a way to still celebrate their achievements.
The platform is hosting “Dear Class of 2020” a virtual graduation ceremony headlined by President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
YouTube has also enlisted the likes of Lady Gaga, BTS, Malala Yousafzai, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington, Zendaya, Chloe x Halle and Jackie Aina, among others, to participate in the celebration. BTS and other musicians will perform during the after party following the virtual graduation.
The programming will air on June 6 on the YouTube Originals channel. YouTube is partnering with Michelle Obama’s Reach Higher Initiative, Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, the Malala Fund and other foundations to feature students from around the world and for a crowd-sourced commencement speech.
Former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice, former secretary of defense Robert M. Gates and Alphabet and Google chief executive officer Sundar Pichai will also speak during the digital commencement.
The YouTube special continues the trend of events transitioning to digital formats in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Just this week, the Met Gala went virtual for the first time in its 72-year history. Other institutions are also

While the 2020 Met Gala is going virtual — and the in-real-life event is postponed indefinitely — stars are still celebrating the first Monday in May by posting throwbacks from past galas.
Last year’s theme of “Camp: Notes on Fashion” brought out the creative side for many celebrities. Lady Gaga — never one to shy away from an Internet-stopping look — took the theme head-on with four outfit changes. Designer Brandon Maxwell, who was behind the looks, posted a number of behind-the-scenes videos of the Oscar winner today, showing him escorting Gaga to the museum as fans cheered her on.

New YouTube! Link in Bio We have another special new video coming today at 3pm, so make sure to check back! We wanted to first share this unedited clip of myself, @ladygaga, and our teams walking to last years #MetGala. My fiancé filmed this, and I’ll never ever forget looking up at him as we approached the carpet and seeing a tear fall down his face from pride. It remains one of my most treasured memories. We wanted to share this today because of the sheer joy this moment held, because of

A LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN: When Tom Ford accepted the post of chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers last year, he knew it was a big job through which he would have to address complicated issues. He could have had no idea just how big and how complicated.
On Monday afternoon, Ford sent a letter to the CFDA membership in which he addressed the coronavirus impact of the industry. “The challenges we are experiencing truly are unprecedented.” Ford wrote. He said that part of the CFDA’s mission now is to provide information and support “to ensure that as many businesses survive this pandemic as possible.”
Ford noted that A Common Thread, the CFDA-Vogue fundraising effort to benefit businesses impacted by the COVID-19 shutdown, has raised $4.2 million — and has received a whopping 1,000-plus applications for those funds. While he did not indicate in what amounts or to how many recipients the money will be allotted, he said that payments would commence later this month. “We know we cannot save everyone, but our hope is to help businesses survive the immediate and in turn be positioned for future survival,” he said.
Ford noted that as the economy begins to open up, companies will have
