François Pinault Delays Opening of Paris Museum Until 2021

ART ON HOLD: Billionaire François Pinault has decided to push back the opening of his Bourse de Commerce art museum until spring 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The historical building, renovated by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, was originally due to be unveiled in June after several years of renovations. It was completed on March 9 and workers were busy putting the final touches to the venue when France entered its lockdown on March 17.
“Following the announcement of the continuation of the confinement linked to the health crisis and given the uncertainty over when activity can resume, the work necessary for the completion of the Bourse de Commerce cannot be carried out according to the planned schedule,” the Fondation Pinault said in a statement on Friday.
The City of Paris was in the process of completing construction work outside the building. Initially expected to last three months, this phase will now take an estimated eight or nine months due to the social distancing rules that are likely to remain in place once the lockdown is lifted, the institution explained.
The 150,000-square-foot building is in the center of Paris near the newly refurbished Forum des Halles shopping center, and in a neighborhood that

Kathy Ireland Forges Swimwear Deal With Trunkettes

Kathy Ireland has teamed with Trunkettes LLC, a Los Angeles-based women’s swimwear manufacturer to co-brand a designer swimwear collection. The line will be introduced online for summer 2020 with a safari collection, which follows on the release of Ireland’s first novel, “Fashion Jungle.”
Additional themed lines will continue throughout the season.
Kathy Ireland Worldwide struck a deal for at least the next five years. Eventually the line will distributed to stores once they open up, said a company spokeswoman.
Hilary Genga founded Trunkettes in 2008, and its designs have been featured in several editions of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue, including one worn by Ashley Graham on the 2016 cover.
“All of us at Kathy Ireland Worldwide are delighted to be working with Hilary and her team,” said Ireland, chairwoman, chief executive officer and chief designer at KIWW. “It’s been a very long time since our company’s involvement in the fashion category of swimwear. Many industry leaders have asked for that brand extension, and their vision did not inspire us.” She said that after meaningful consultations with their KIWW team and long-term partners, they met Genga and decided to do it.
Genga said, “We could not have imagined a more ideal fit for partnership than with

Exclusive: Goop to Host Virtual ‘In Goop Health’ Sessions on YouTube

Goop’s health summit is going virtual. Starting April 22, Gwyneth Paltrow’s brand will host a variety of series to discuss all things wellness, the mental, spiritual and physical.
The “In Goop Health” summit, which has been hosted in Los Angeles — the company’s hub — New York City, the Bay Area and London, usually costs goers at least about $650 to attend, with pricing going up to $2,000 for a VIP ticket or $4,500 for the “weekender” option that includes extras like a hotel stay. But with the country in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic, Paltrow has canceled an upcoming summit and is offering a stripped-down, free, digital version of the event in partnership with YouTube.
“Like everyone, we have this strange unprecedented moment in time and have been evaluating where we can be of service,” said Goop’s chief content officer, Elise Loehnen, who is hosting the sessions. “We want to find ways to create community and bring people together. Bringing it online for the duration of the quarantine felt like a natural extension for us and a way to introduce the content that’s at In Goop Health.
“They’re like weddings,” she continued of the events. “They’re so beautiful. We think about
