A Look at Natalia Bryant’s Sustainable Met Gala Dress

Natalia Bryant is pushing forward with her career in fashion with her debut appearance at the 2021 Met Gala.
The 18-year-old wore a floral sequined gown created by emerging fashion designer Conner Ives. The look, which was the finale dress part of Ives’ debut fall 2021 American Dream collection, is sustainably made from recycled PET plastic.
Ives, who attended the Met Gala alongside Bryant, shared more about her look on his Instagram, writing: “This dress was originally a centerpiece in the costume exhibit. Due to some changes in the exhibition layout; this dress was later replaced with look 1 from the same collection. It created this serendipitous opportunity for a red carpet moment I have been dreaming of since I first started sketching this shape. This is the conclusion of a wild two years perfecting this body of work. The perfect conclusion to a wild 24 months. Thank you to everyone for the immense support my heart is so so full.”

Blackpink’s Rosé Debuts at Met Gala in Saint Laurent

Blackpink’s Rosé arrived at the Met Gala for the first time.
The music sensation, with the fashion house’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello by her side, stepped onto the carpet of the 2021 Met Gala in Saint Laurent. This marks the singer’s debut at the coveted fundraising benefit held at the Museum of Metropolitan Art in New York City. Rosé also makes history as one of the first female K-pop stars to attend the Met Gala, along with Korean rapper CL, born Lee Chae-rin.
Her dress was a simple little black dress finished with a giant white bow across the chest from the brand’s winter 2021 collection. To finish off her look, she donned patent black platform heels and an embellished black choker and statement earrings, while her platinum blonde hair was in a teased high ponytail.
Rosé, born Chae-Young Park, is most famous for being one of the four members of popular South Korean girl group, Blackpink, which also includes Ji-soo Kim, Lalisa Manobal and Jennie Kim, known simply as Ji-soo, Lisa and Jennie to their legion of Blackpink fans known as “Blinks.”

A Closer Look at Lil Nas X’s Three Versace Outfits at the Met Gala

It wouldn’t be Lil Nas X without an outfit change or two.
The rapper, fresh off his Video of the Year win at the MTV VMAs Sunday, stepped onto the Met Gala carpet in not one, not two, but three custom outfits by Versace. Lil Nas X arrived in a flowing, regal-inspired cloak before shedding it to show off a gold, gilded armor like that of a knight, then removing that to reveal a sparkling, gold formfitting bodysuit.
Lil Nas X wore a custom, embellished all-lavender look by the Italian fashion house at the awards show Sunday.
The 22-year-old artist isn’t the first to do numerous outfit changes at the coveted fundraising benefit. In 2019, Lady Gaga showed off four different looks by Brandon Maxwell.
