Netflix Reveals First Look at Britney Spears Documentary

Netflix’s “Britney vs Spears” is almost here.
On Wednesday, the streaming service revealed the poster and first official trailer of its highly anticipated documentary detailing Britney Spears’ life and her very publicized conservatorship, a legal arrangement in which she has no control over her own estate or other aspects of her life, in which she has been involuntary placed since 2008. A court grants a conservatorship for individuals who are unable to make a decision for themselves due to physical or mental limitations. The documentary will debut on the streaming service on Sept. 28.
The poster shows a detailed painting of the pop star as she holds her neck, as if it seems like she’s strangling herself. “No more secrets. No more silence,” the caption on Twitter read.

The trailer has snippets of Spears’ testimony from June, when she spoke in a Los Angeles courtroom fighting to end her conservatorship. “I just want my life back,” she said as the clip started.
Then as the video continued, the voices of different people chimed in on their thoughts and findings regarding the conservatorship and the singer’s life.
“Britney had a fear that her family would

BTS Looks to Sustainable Fashion for Appearance at U.N. Headquarters

BTS is back at the United Nations.
Three years since the most popular K-pop boy band in the world made a splash at the U.N. Headquarters in New York City, BTS returned to accompany President Moon Jae-in of South Korea on Monday ahead of the opening of the 76th annual General Assembly.
The president tapped the seven-member group, which consists of RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, J-Hope and V, to be the U.N.’s Special Presidential Envoys for Future Generations and Culture for the Republic of Korea and help encourage people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Each member of BTS wore custom suits made by RE;CODE, a sustainable label based in Korea.
“This suit design aims to support sustainable fashion and it is particularly designed for BTS’ speech at [the] United Nations,” the brand said on its official Instagram account.
Additionally, they all wore rainbow crystal Swarovski pins representing the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals.
In their seven-minute speech, the group, who stated they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, highlighted the importance of getting the vaccine and praised young people all over the world for their resiliency during the pandemic, stating that they are not a “lost generation” because of this.

Amanda Gorman Looks to the Statue of Liberty for the 2021 Met Gala

Amanda Gorman has made her Met Gala debut.
The national youth poet laureate, who is co-chairing the 2021 Met Gala, arrived on the red carpet wearing a custom Vera Wang dress that references the Statue of Liberty. The cobalt blue look was designed as a mini dress with a tulle train and Swarovski crystals. Gorman’s look was styled by Jason Bolden.
“I wanted the energy and the spirit of my outfit to be about America welcoming the world,” Gorman said about the look on the Met Gala red carpet.
Gorman accessorized the red carpet with a clutch designed to look like a book that reads the phrase, “Give Us Your Tired,” which references the poem that’s etched on the Statue of Liberty.

A Closer Look at Lil Nas X’s Three Versace Outfits at the Met Gala

It wouldn’t be Lil Nas X without an outfit change or two.
The rapper, fresh off his Video of the Year win at the MTV VMAs Sunday, stepped onto the Met Gala carpet in not one, not two, but three custom outfits by Versace. Lil Nas X arrived in a flowing, regal-inspired cloak before shedding it to show off a gold, gilded armor like that of a knight, then removing that to reveal a sparkling, gold formfitting bodysuit.
Lil Nas X wore a custom, embellished all-lavender look by the Italian fashion house at the awards show Sunday.
The 22-year-old artist isn’t the first to do numerous outfit changes at the coveted fundraising benefit. In 2019, Lady Gaga showed off four different looks by Brandon Maxwell.

The Standout Fashion Moments in Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Star-Crossed’ Film

Kacey Musgraves has returned to the scene with her fifth album called “Star-Crossed,” featuring songs of heartbreak and striking fashion moments in the accompanying film directed by Bardia Zeinali.
The film, also of the same name, was released on Friday, along with the highly anticipated album. The 50-minute clip is a fantasy retelling of her relationship with ex-husband Ruston Kelly, whom she divorced in September 2020, exploring the emotions she felt before, during and after.
Musgraves and Kelly began dating in mid-2016, then were engaged by December of that year. In October 2017, the two wed in Tennessee. Last July, the couple filed for divorced, saying “it just simply didn’t work out” in a joint statement.
It’s no secret that one of the overarching themes of the album and film is her relationship with Kelly.
The film’s absence of a husband or male protagonist, with Musgraves dressed up in characters with any marital connection, such as a bride without a groom and a woman that closely resembles a Stepford wife.
Despite its emotional lyrics and depiction of heartbreak, the short film boasts plenty of colors and stylish outfits, with some as an ode to the late ‘90s and early Aughts. The film also features cameos
