Everything to Know About Beyoncé’s Newest Ivy Park Release

Looks like the next drop of the Adidas x Ivy Park collection will be centered around rodeo and Black cowboys.
Beyoncé began teasing the latest collection of her line with Adidas by posting an image of actor Glynn Turman and his granddaughter, Melinda, wearing denim with three stripes — jackets, jeans and even chaps over shorts for Melinda under the tag line: Ivy Park Rodeo.
A video embedded in the image features “The Wire” and “Fargo” actor talking about how he how he spent his days in the stables of Central Park shoveling manure so he could ride for free and how important Black cowboys were in settling the American West.
On the Ivy Park website, a script is overlaid on a photo of Melinda that provides details on Turman. “Born and raised in New York City, it is sometimes hard to imagine that the sometimes-director of stage productions has also been a real-life cowboy,” it reads. “He says from as long as he could remember, he has had a fascination with horses. An accomplished horseman and rodeo champion off-screen, he and his wife, Jo-Ann, cofounded and direct a free Western-style summer camp, ‘Camp Gid D Up’ for inner-city and at-risk youth since

Theophilio Debuts Swim Collection

Edvin Thompson, Theophilio designer and CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund recipient, debuted his new swim collection during Miami Swim Week.
The swim collection is inspired by his homeland Jamaica and its sunrises and sunsets. “The colors used in this collection reminded me of the many moments while living in the hills of Jamaica. The countryside was my world, it was all I knew growing up in Jamaica. The vibrant colors constantly reminded me of how alive I was. The rivers and oceans aided many juvenile activities. I want to hold on to that image with this swim collection,” he said.
Swim sets are $135, headpieces are $90 and minidresses are $225, all which will be available mid-August.

Ariana Grande is launching her first clean fragrance.

That fragrance is also available at Ulta.

A Breakdown of Nastia Liukin’s Colorful Tokyo Olympics Style

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin may not be competing in the Tokyo Summer Olympics, but her colorful style has been stealing the spotlight as she provides commentary for the sport.
Liukin — who won five Olympic medals in gymnastics at the 2008 Beijing Games, including gold in the all-around competition — has made an impact on Olympics viewers with her colorful, monochromatic style in bright hues of purple, blue, orange and pink.
“Everything is thought out, really symbolic and very detailed regarding the colors that she’s wearing,” said Liukin’s fashion stylist, Gabriela Tena, who spoke to WWD from Spain. “We try to do a different color for each look so it’s not all the same color and it’s like a color storyboard almost.”
Tena explained that many of Liukin’s colorful looks have a meaning behind them. For Liukin’s first day providing gymnastics commentary for NBC, for example, the Olympic gymnast paid homage to the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi with her purple Safiyaa pants and matching purple Tom Ford heels that she paired with a white, ruffled Zimmermann top.
“He was a big mentor to her and they met at the 2008 Olympics,” Tena explained. “She wore purple to honor Kobe and Gigi.”

A Fashion Show in Homage to Alber Elbaz Will Close Paris Fashion Week

AZ Factory, the fashion start-up initiated by Alber Elbaz, is set to close Paris Fashion Week this fall with a fashion show in homage to the beloved designer, who died on April 24 from COVID-19.
Titled “Love Brings Love,” the show has been scheduled for Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. CET and “will pay tribute to Alber’s creative vision and his extraordinary love for the fashion family,” the brand said in a brief statement.
The next women’s fashion week in the French capital is scheduled for Sept. 27 to Oct. 5.
Based in Paris, AZ Factory is a joint venture with Compagnie Financière Richemont hinged on projects rather than collections, and with storytelling, problem-solving and entertainment embedded in design, distribution and communications.
Laurent Malecaze, chief executive officer of AZ Factory, previously described the memorial in Paris as coming together “to honor Alber with a celebration of his life and his visionary work, aiming to bring the same level of passion and love that he brought to us each day.”
Elbaz was laid to rest at the Holon cemetery in Israel, next to his parents, only a few days after his passing.
The fashion world reeled with shock and grief over the sudden loss of Elbaz, best
